CFREE is putting on a series of lectures at the Lincoln Public Library.
Program 1: Test Your Home for Energy LeaksWednesday September 23, 20267:00 - 8:00 PM, Tarbell RoomThis program will introduce patrons to the Lending Library’s FLIR camera and advise patrons on how it works. It will provide instruction on what to look for and then analyze a sample variety of FLIR images. A Q&A session will follow to provide specific feedback and advice for those looking to improve their home’s insulation. Presenters: Scott Rodman

Program 2: Better House and Window InsulationWednesday October 07, 20267:00 - 8:00 PM, Tarbell RoomPresenter: Michael Moodie & Nancy SelvageThis program will give patrons recommendations and suggestions for options on how to improve overall home insulation as well as specific improvements to make to eliminate heat leakage from the home.
Program 4: Energy Efficient Appliance UpgradesWednesday October 14, 20267:00 - 8:00 PM, Tarbell RoomPresenter: Belinda Gingrich & Nancy SelvageThis program explores what patrons should look for when upgrading their appliances to ensure they are purchasing the most energy efficient models.
Program 5: Solar PanelsWednesday October 21, 20267:00 - 8:00 PM, Tarbell RoomPresenter: Scott Rodman & Edwin TamThis program will provide patrons with advice on installing solar panels on their home. The presenters will cover the benefits as well as the risks.
