New Publication! Community Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report Online

In 2019, the Green Energy Committee commissioned a study of Lincoln's greenhouse gas emissions. Prepared by James Booth, the report was published in Winter 2020, and is now available online! Visit https://www.lincolngreenenergy.org/greenhouse-gas-emissions to download the report.

The report provides an assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in Lincoln for the year 2017. Three sectors were considered: transportation (vehicles, air travel, and commuter rail), stationary energy (natural gas, fuel oil, propane, and electricity), and waste (incineration, water treatment). The report also identifies opportunities for emissions reductions.
